“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.” (Psalm 144: 1 KJV)

The Time is NOW!

The Lord openly claims that the hour of judgment is unknown to all except the Father (Matthew 24:36).  The apostles eagerly waited for that day, as has the world ever since; self-proclaimed prophets claim to know the exact hour but have been wrong every time.  Doomsday preachers have created end-of-day cults in preparation for the Day of the Lord, or their perspective of it, for that matter. Regardless, there is something very intrinsic in all of us that acknowledges the end of all things just as we acknowledge the certainty of death.  This being the case, it would definitely be prudent to be prepared.  God gives us ample time to repent and come to Him, yet we continue to tread on wayward paths uttering, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”  Yet tomorrow is here, it is in the now!(1 Corinthians 7:29; James 5:8; 1 Peter 4:7; Revelation 12:12, 22:20; et al.).

A person can go to Heaven without their 20-room mansion, $200,000 sports car, tons of jewelry, seven-digit bank account, good-paying job, and even friends and family, but they CANNOT enter the Kingdom WITHOUT Christ.

We must turn our heads away from this material world and look upwards toward Christ for salvation, for tomorrow may be too late.  The time is now!  He [Christ] will arrive like a thief in the night (Matthew 24:43; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; Revelation 16:15).  And if you know at what the time the thief is going to arrive, would you not do everything to protect yourself and your family from harm and theft?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV)
