“Be still, and know that I am God!I will be honored by every nation.I will be honored throughout the world.” (Psalm 46:10 NLT)
It all begins with an idea.
In today’s world, it is often difficult to maintain hope and faith amidst the never-ending violence that has shrouded our world in a cloud of toxicity. From the moment we turn on the TV in the morning to the nightly news, all we see is violence from one end of the spectrum to the other. There seems to be no end in sight as the levels of brutality achieve new heights on a daily basis. In times like these, we are prone to questioning God’s motives and ask for a swift end to the pestilence.
All throughout the world, evil appears to have gained the upper hand and secured victory, prompting many to throw in the proverbial white towel. But fear not, it is merely an illusion, the Lord will have the last word as “every knee shall bow to me [Him], and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11 KJV). Although “nations are in uproar,” He shall “breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; […] the chariot [will be tossed] in the fire” (Psalm 46:9 KJV).
Our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, vowed never to leave us (Deuteronomy 31:8; Joshua 1:5; Isaiah 41:10; Hebrews 13:5-6; et al.); do not lose hope or faith, and keep your eyes on the prize (Philippians 3:13-14).
His Time Draws Nearer…
It all begins with an idea.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
(1 Peter 5:8 NIV)
Christ’s victory at the Cross sealed our pathway to victory over Satan; the war has already been won for us by the King, all we have to do is win our personal battle with the devil. And only by accepting Christ Jesus and Holy Spirit into our lives can we emerge the victor.
Utter fear and complete desperation will prompt a drowning person to pull anyone attempting to rescue him/her underneath with them. The same can be said of Satan, he is fully aware that his time draws nearer and is desperately seeking equally desperate souls to drag with him into the eternal abyss. Our only chance of salvation is Jesus, the living Son of God. He is at your door, knocking, eagerly waiting for you to open it and allow Him into your heart. Accept Christ Jesus into your life TODAY! Tomorrow may be too late. Do not wait until the master returns from his trip (Matthew 25:14-30). Do not fall prey to the roaring lion pacing feverishly in the background.
Fountain of Life
It all begins with an idea.
“Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life” (John 4:13-14, NLT).
